Catherine Whelan is a violin teacher and viola teacher in Portland Oregon. Dr. Valdine Ritchie Mishkin is a cello teacher and piano teacher in Portland Oregon and Lake Oswego Oregon. SuzukiPortland Mentor Program

Young SuzukiPortland violin students are most inspired by playing and learning from children just a bit older than them. The SuzukiPortland Violin, Viola and Cello Mentor Program understands this and is available for all students to participate in. 

Dr. Mishkin, cellist and Director of the SuzukiLakeOswego Preparatory Program will begin a new theory class in the Fall semester starting August 31, 2009.
